7th Master — 1st Play (Fol 17r)

Section: Fiore: Dagger

Source Text and Drawing

I am the seventh master that plays with the arms crossed, and this cover is worth more in armour than without armour. That which I can do with this cover are my plays that are before me, thus the middle lock which is the third play of the first remedy master of dagger. Also I can turn you pushing with my left hand your right elbow. And I can strike you in the head or in the back, immediately. And this cover is more for binding than for doing other things, and it is a very strong cover against the dagger.
