Sword in Scabbard — 4th Play (Fol 19v)

This is a similar technique to the one that’s here before. But it isn’t done in the same way as is said in the one before. This play is done in the way that is said here before, that when the one with the dagger raises his arm to strike me, I immediately raise my sword up under your dagger, putting the point of my sword’s scabbard in your face, passing back with the front foot. And so I can strike you in the way that is shown after me.
