2nd Play (Fol 28r)

System: Fiore: Longsword

Section: Fiore: Longsword: Zogho Stretto

Source Text and Drawing

By the crossing that the master has made, with the right foot forwards, I complete the first play, thus, I pass with the left foot and with my left hand I pass over my right arm, and grab his handle of his sword in between his hands, thus in the middle of the handle. And with cut and thrust I can strike him. And this grip one can do with a single- handed sword, and with the two-handed. And by crossing from above as much as from below, one can do this grip.
