This play is taken from the play of the dagger, thus, from the first remedy master, that as he puts his left hand under the dagger to take it out of the hand, in the same way this scholar places his left hand under the right hand of the player to take the sword out of his hand. Or to put him in the middle lock, as the second play that is after the first remedy master of the dagger, that is said previously. And this lock is the one of that scholar.
